Increasing The Access To Care

The Protecting All Smiles Public Health Dental Program is a Massachusetts based initiative that helps prevent oral disease and promote healthy smiles for children at school.

Through this program, our licensed dental professionals visit schools to provide dental services at no direct cost. There is no charge to families and schools. However, if your child is covered by MassHealth, our public health program may bill for specific services as allowed.

Public Health Dental Hygienists provide the following services:

  • Dental Hygiene Screenings

  • Oral Health Education

  • Fluoride Varnish Applications

  • Dental Cleaning (Oral Prophylaxis)

  • Dental Sealants (as appropriate)

  • Referrals to local Community Dentists

The Protecting All Smiles Team comes to your location with portable equipment. Our community partners include:

  • Daycares

  • Preschools

  • Public Schools

  • Charter Schools

  • Early Head Start

  • Head Start

  • WIC programs
